Asset Processing Technician

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Asset Processing Technician to join our operations team. This role focuses on inventory management, asset identification, and data entry within our inventory tracking system. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in accuracy, and is eager to learn new processes.

Responsibilities

• Identify and record asset information including serial numbers, model numbers, and equipment details

• Enter and maintain accurate records in company inventory systems

• Process incoming and outgoing equipment according to established procedures

• Inspect equipment and verify asset information

• Apply asset labels and tracking identifiers

• Prepare equipment for storage, shipment, or processing

• Perform routine quality checks to ensure inventory accuracy

• Maintain organized workspace and inventory locations

• Follow documented procedures and work instructions

• Support warehouse and asset management operations as needed

Qualifications Required

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software systems

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain active throughout the workday

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Preferred

• Experience in inventory, warehouse, receiving, shipping, manufacturing, or production environments

• Experience using inventory management or ERP systems

• Experience working with handheld scanners or barcode systems
