Atlassian Support Engineer
Zeno is seeking an Atlassian Support Engineer with Data Center experience to administer and maintain the Atlassian suite, including Jira Software, Jira Service Management (JSM), and Confluence Data Center, and the plugins and add-ons that extend them. You will keep these tools available, secure, and performing well, configure them to how Zeno's engineering, program, and business teams work, and support and train users on their use. - Own access administration. Design and maintain the role-based permission model across Jira projects and Confluence spaces, including group structure, project and space admin delegation, and a documented rollback path for permission changes.
- Design and maintain complex, multi-step workflows and the automation rules that drive them, including approval chains, status progression, assignments, and notifications for business processes such as purchase requisitions, contracts, and job requisitions.
- Build and maintain the Confluence information architecture for new programs, product lines, and business functions, including page hierarchies, templates, and space structure.
- Monitor the performance, availability, and security of the Atlassian applications, troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise, and apply updates and patches on a planned cadence.
- Own configuration hygiene. Audit workflows, schemes, automation rules, and permission groups, consolidate duplicates, retire unused configuration, and keep the platform administration backlog current.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, project managers, operations, finance, recruiting, and other stakeholders to understand their requirements and configure the Atlassian tools to meet them.
- Develop and implement best practices and guidelines for using the Atlassian tools, and provide training, playbooks, and design docs so teams use them consistently.

- Experience structuring, documenting, and implementing change management practices (playbooks, design docs, rollback plans, and training) for new products and features.
- Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to turn a stakeholder's process into a configuration and explain it to a non-technical audience.
