About the Role
Role Summary:
To support and execute Plant HR and Administration activities by managing recruitment, contract workforce, attendance, payroll inputs, employee engagement, training coordination, facility management, security, vendor management, and statutory administration to ensure smooth plant operations and compliance.
Roles and Responsibility:
- Coordinate manpower planning requirements with functional heads.
- Execute end-to-end recruitment for plant workforce, supervisors, and staff positions.
- Manage joining formalities, employee documentation, background verification, and induction programs.
- Ensure seamless onboarding experience for new employees.
- Maintain employee personnel files, records, and HRIS databases with high accuracy.
- Administer and monitor attendance management systems and leave records.
- Prepare and maintain various HR reports and MIS dashboards.
- Support employee lifecycle processes including confirmations, transfers, and separations.
- Manage end-to-end contract labour administration and workforce deployment.
- Coordinate with contractors for manpower requirements.
- Monitor contractor compliance, attendance, documentation, and statutory obligations.
- Ensure adherence to labour laws and company policies related to contract labour.
- Consolidate attendance and payroll-related inputs for salary processing.
- Coordinate with payroll teams to ensure timely and accurate salary administration.
- Manage employee insurance administration and employee benefit programs.
- Assist in employee claim processing and benefit-related communications.
- Plan and coordinate employee engagement activities and welfare initiatives.
- Support employee communication programs and recognition initiatives.
- Foster a positive work environment and employee relations culture.
- Coordinate with service providers and vendors for administrative requirements.
- Monitor vendor performance and service quality.
- Create and process Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO) as per company procedures.
- Ensure timely closure of administrative procurement activities.
- Prepare HR and Administration MIS reports for management review.
- Attend and actively participate in Tier 2 and Tier 3 review meetings.
- Provide workforce, attendance, recruitment, and compliance-related data to stakeholders.

Role Specific Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years working and managing union related matters
- Good understanding of HR processes and employee lifecycle management.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and HRMS tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good planning and organizational skills.
- Customer-focused approach with attention to detail.
