Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Oversee project development and acquisition of utility-scale wind, solar, and energy storage projects in Mexico

  • Represent Invenergy with partners, customers, landowners, state and local officials and other stakeholders

  • Lead efforts to secure all local, state and/or federal permits, licenses, and authorizations

  • Coordinate project design, landowner engagement, financial modeling and support commercial offtake negotiations and project financing 

  • Engage and manage third party consultants used in support of resource assessments, project designs, and permitting

  • Prepare and maintain project budgets and schedules

  • Drive negotiations and create solutions to project-specific problems and challenges

  • Prepare periodic project status reports and presentations for management approvals

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.

  • 5+ years of direct experience developing utility-scale wind, solar, and energy storage projects.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and to meet deadlines and complete time-sensitive duties.

  • Experience building, managing and mentoring teams.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Ability to travel up to 50% on a monthly basis
